Around the world you will find them on power-boats and sailing yachts, wherever superb design, fine materials and manufacturing quality are of prime importance. As a result Simpson Davits are specified as standard equipment by many leading boatbuilders, both in the UK and overseas.

Simpson Davits products are designed and manufactured to Lloyd\'s requirements, as well as having CE Certificates of Conformity where appropriate. Additionally we ensure that when we design our davits, each structure has a safety factor of 5 times that of the safe working load.

The Simpson Davit range consists of davits which are designed to handle weights from 50kg(120lb) to 500kg(1200lb) and are used on the smallest dinghy or tender up to the largest sports or rescue craft.

Simpson Davits also produces a complete range of fixed or folding gangways (passerelles), for boarding from quay or marina, or for use as steps or boarding ladders.

Simpson Davits are manufactured in marine grade 316 stainless steel, and all moving parts of the winches are marine grade stainless steel and aluminium bronze. Our davits are then either hand-polished to a mirror finish or painted in durable white acrylic. In either case they offer a superb appearance and high resistance to the marine atmosphere.

The product ranges of the the two companies are complimentary, and the hydraulic passerelles, cranes, deck cleats, fairleads and hinges of Cooney Marine interleave perfectly with the davits, cranes and manual gangways of Simpson Davits.
