Accessories
We can design and manufacture many accessories for your davits. These include flag pole sockets, stern lights, antenna and generator mounting brackets etc. To quote all we require are your specifications.
Below are a number of other accessories available from Simpson Davits.
1.Interlock blocks
Patented neoprene block for easy fitting to the dinghy to ensure stability and chafe-proof stowage. Available in grey.
2.Transom Brackets
To suit standard, enclosed base, traditional or tubular davits, these brackets have the same features as found in the deck shoes. Manufactured from mirror-polished 316 stainless steel, and pre-drilled to match davit bases. Custom transom brackets are also available to special order.
3.Electric Davit Operation
Our Series 7 davits can be electrically operated. The davits are fitted with either 12V or 24V internally mounted winch motors. Manual override is standard in event of power failure; each has a unique system of gears - giving optimum winch/weight lift ratio on all models. Electric davits are supplied complete with solenoids and a touch-controlled pendant with 2.5m (7ft) of cable, which enables single-handed operation.
