Lightweight Swivelling Davits

The Lightweight Swivelling Davit is a curved 50mm (2”) tube davit designed to carry a 75kg (165lb) load and swing across the boat when the dinghy is absent. SWL for a pair is 100kg (220lb)

The davit has an internal sliding arm, allowing the dinghy to be secured when at sea. A version without slider is also available.

The davit is simply removed from the base bracket allowing stowage when not in use.
3 types of fixing bracket are available, deck mount, transom mount and custom transom mount. The davits are built on site in 316 grade stainless.

Simpson Davits Handylift Series

Models HL60 and HL35
The Handylift is designed to simplify loading outboards and unmanagable objects onto yachts and motorboats. The two models are made of 50mm (2") or 38mm (1.5") 316 grade stainless steel and can be supplied in two parts, with a joint in the upright section to improve stowage, or as a single tube.

The lifting capacities are 60kg (135lb) and 35kg (80lb) repectively, and the installation is a simple matter of bolting the base plate to the deck and attaching the support bracket to the pushpit or deck rail.
